Getting Started

Getting started with APEX takes three short steps. Work through them in order — each unlocks the next.

Quickstart Use the template, open the dev container, and run your first agent.

Azure Setup Provision the Entra ID app registration, OIDC federation, and GitHub secrets.

Dev Container Setup Set GH_TOKEN, copilot-chat settings, and verify CLI prerequisites.

Once setup is complete, head to the Workflow to walk the agentic Steps 1–7.
